SEE YOU AT THE TRAILHEAD

From our vantage point, the best hike is always the next one. Every weekend (and Wednesday), our members are out on the trails, bagging 6,000-foot peaks in North Carolina or finding rare flowers in the South Carolina foothills.

These adventures are led by some of the most active hikers in our region. They're not professional guides. But many of them have a deep knowledge about our region's history and natural environment. And they're always willing to share their favorite trails with you.

We post the majority of our hikes on Meetup, but we also have a Wednesday group that offers easy to moderately strenuous hikes that are shared via email. To join that list, contact the group's hike coordinator.
