Welcome to the GNHA Web-site. We hope you will come and hike with us. GNHA has about 400 members and we do a variety of hikes throughout the year for all levels of hiker; something for everybody. Please read through our hike rating scale and other important information which follows. Attached is an abridged version of our hike schedule. To receive the complete list and become a GNHA member, please mail a check for $5.00 and your completed membership application to Lance Renault, Treasurer GNHA, PO Box 26892, Greenville, SC 29616. If you would like to go on a particular hike it is imperative that you contact the leader beforehand. Their name and phone number are in the hike description along with the degree of difficulty of the hike, elevation gain and suggested "car pool" amount. Only the leader can tell you what to expect so you will be prepared for the day. All Saturday hikes leave promptly at 8:30AM, and Sunday hikes at 1:30 PM (unless otherwise noted in the hike description). Please be on time and be prepared with food, water, proper footgear and clothing. We want you to have a positive hiking experience.
